Senior/Lead Business Intelligence Engineer
We’re looking for a Senior/Lead BI Engineer for part-time collaboration to analyze our existing data ecosystem, recommend the best BI tools and approaches, and help design a scalable BI infrastructure for an eCommerce business.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a related role
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and analysis
- In-depth experience with various BI systems and architectures
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and Data Warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with modern data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Previous experience in the eCommerce domain
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English (both written and spoken)
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current state of the business, including data flows, reports, processes, and interfaces
- Provide strategic recommendations on the most effective BI approaches, systems, and tools tailored to business needs
- Design, develop, and maintain robust BI system architecture and infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient BI solutions
- Support and improve existing ETL processes and data models
