We’re looking for a Senior/Lead BI Engineer for part-time collaboration to analyze our existing data ecosystem, recommend the best BI tools and approaches, and help design a scalable BI infrastructure for an eCommerce business.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a related role
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and analysis
  • In-depth experience with various BI systems and architectures
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and Data Warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with modern data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Previous experience in the eCommerce domain
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus
  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of English (both written and spoken)

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the current state of the business, including data flows, reports, processes, and interfaces
  • Provide strategic recommendations on the most effective BI approaches, systems, and tools tailored to business needs
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust BI system architecture and infrastructure
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient BI solutions
  • Support and improve existing ETL processes and data models
