Senior Automation QA

Our client is building their award-winning and innovative Marketing Payment technology solutions out of their development center to support the rapid customer growth in its various business lines.

As a Senior Automation QA you would be leading by example in developing robust, scalable, and bug free test automation suites for various solutions in an enterprise platform. The platform has monolith backends, tens of microservices, native mobile apps, APIs, SDKs, browser extensions, SPA, and dynamic HTML websites consumed on both web and mobile browsers.

You’ll become part of an Agile, multidisciplinary team that continuously builds new capabilities and features in the various solutions of our eCommerce business lines. Our environment is natively Agile, DevOps, and Cloud.

What you will do:

  • work closely with the development team and the business to understand the requirements;
  • analyze the requirements and build automated tests. You will be responsible for functional (E2E, acceptance, Synthetic Monitoring, contract tests etc.) and non-functional (performance, security, load, etc.) testing of the new solutions/features in the products;
  • provide functional quality-assurance testing for features at black-box and API;
  • work closely with your development team to resolve the defects and release them for production;
  • work closely with multi-functional organizations, project teams and clients to develop test plans, execute test plans and cases, and deliver high quality products;
  • act as a strong advocate for quality in the software development process.

What you will need:

  • strong professional experience (4 + years) in SDET in Java web-based enterprise offerings on public Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure);
  • experience with automated testing frameworks for acceptance testing and E2E testing like Gherkin, Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor;
  • strong in exploratory testing (manual) and Java language programming;
  • agile delivery experience.


  • prior experience in testing B2C fintech applications;
  • experience in Gatlin for performance testing;
  • experience in Pact for contract testing;
  • experience in testing and automation of Java-based microservices exposing REST APIs;
  • knowledge of best practices in DevOps and CI-CD;
  • experience in working with RDBMS and NoSQL data stores in the Cloud;
  • experience in working with an e-commerce platform.
