We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a focus on backend and API testing to join our team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as QA Engineer
  • 4+ years of experience in automation
  • Strong experience with backend and API testing, including hands-on experience with tools like Postman, RestAssured, and Pact
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks and scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins) to streamline testing and delivery pipelines
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Upper – Intermediate English level

Will be a plus:

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, especially Amazon AWS
  • Experience with test automation tools like Cypress.io and PactumJS

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated tests for backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality delivery
  • Perform API testing, contract testing, and integration testing using tools like Postman, Pact, and RestAssured
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure applications meet functional, security, and performance requirements
  • Utilize DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins) for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Manage test cases and defects using tools such as Jira and Xray, ensuring efficient test execution and bug tracking
  • Work within an Agile environment, applying BDD, TDD, and ATDD techniques for continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by fostering collaboration, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving
